If either of the last two hits had been missed by Deleon. The game would had immediately been over. I froze the video and zoomed in on Deleon. It's grainy but the kid is laid out getting the ball.

Still will get the yeti like it better
Hows the yeti cooler holding up? Have you experienced any warping on the lid?
I got my RTIC in 2 days from order.
I'm pretty sure as yeti continues to sell and price probably continues to go up rtic will feel greedy and left behind so they will probably raise their prices as well.
Think id go for the rtic, cheaper and a bit larger.
Thank you so very much for the work you put into this video to share your experience with us! I'm on Team RTIC meow!
inhave a yeti 65 hace ice since saturday today is monday amd i have it outside
Great review. thanks for this one.
Please tell me you've changed those batteries by now.. and when you're on a camping trip are you just never going to open the cooler?
Good job awesome thanks …Leon Powell..
Not bad for a complete rip off
Kinda easy.....Yeti is better but not $100 better. Who is keeping ice for 3 days?
Thanks for making me think my battery was dead on one of my smoke detectors at 1:50 in the morning
Change your smoke detector battery
Thanks for taking the time to do this test. It definitely helped me make my decision.
Label droppers : Yeti Function : Rtic
How many degrees did it take off by slapping the tops?
Son Of kevin haha
Really inconclusive and slightly pointless test. There was SO much airspace in those coolers from the start. Should have filled them to the brim. And they were moved from different environments. Not a good controlled ice retention test. Those coolers will do over 10 days of ice retention packed and pre-chilled correctly. Yeti ice packs would increase the ice retention by a huge amount. Still, putting just 20lbs of ice in a cooler that wasn’t prechilled and had a tonne of airspace and it lasting 3 full days, is testament to just how good these coolers are. I just bought a yeti tundra 45 and yeti ice packs. Can’t wait to get it on the road.
Opening them every hour makes the ice melt faster
Great review! Thank you!
Good video buddy, thank you
Hey bud you have a carbon monoxide leak or something? Lmao
Great review.... BUT the smoke alarm though.... 🤣
Some say his smoke detector is still beeping to this day.
Roll (chirp) tide.
ill take the rtic for alot cheaper, i can deal with the strap being loose
Not really apples to apples… the yeti is actually 61qts. and the rtic is a true 65qt. Yeti should’ve been the winner with less volume to cool, but ended up losing.
I bought mine from RTIC directly. No wait! Shipped immediately.
RTIC is a true 65 quarts! Yeti lies! That’s enough for me.
the 1 yr warranty of the RTIC cooler is worrisome vs. the 5 yr warranty of the YETI
Just recently bought an RTIC 65, was drinking and decided to test it, took a half a bag of ice, put the cooler outside in the sun, almost 48 hours later, there was still some ice, case closed
The Roll Tide piece behind them is all I needed to know
I was watching this video and my wife came out and told me to go change the battery in our smoke detector. 😂
This stupid video had me running all over my house checking smoke detectors thinking mine were chirping. Then I realized that they didn't chirp when the video was stopped. This guy has 2 different smoke detectors beeping and rather than buy a 9v battery he spends $800 on coolers.
Yeti is anti 2nd amendment. Rtic all dayy
I would choose the rtic it holds more, cheaper and performs the same.
ha, i just spent the last 2min waiting for the chirp in my house before realizing it's the video!
I friggin did the same thing! hahaaa
I have an Orca 26, Yeti tundra 45 and Yeti 24. I need a bigger cooler for a road trip. The yeti craftsmanship is nicer than the Orca. Is there a noticeable craftsmanship difference between Yeti vs Artic???
Useful test, thanks, but the video could be edited to about 2 minutes and convey the entire message.
Good review, but your math might not be correct :-). Best guess is that the coolers are within 2% of one another (rather than 3x); which is more or less noise in an experiment like this. The fact that the RTIC has '3x the amount of ice" a the end of 70 hours is kinda meaningless given the amount of ice you started and ended with. It might have been good to weigh the ice ahead of time to determine if the amounts were truly equal. It's not out of the question that one cooler would have more than the other at the start... maybe as much as 2 cups. Your finding that the Yeti is a true 61qt cooler, and not a 65qt is definitely worth knowing; but that said, I kinda like the smaller form factor for my use. Thanks for doing this review. I just now purchased a new Yeti 65.
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
This is a great video... . Compelling, well spoken, good sound, answered all the questions. There was a part that cracked me up... I don't remember what it was , but I was in LOLville.
Those are some serious socks
Drinking game. Take a shot every time he slaps the lid of the cooler.
It would have cost you a few bucks for some temperature gauges to monitor the internal temperature, you could also have done s much more realistically and therefore valid test as no one goes camping with just ice!?? A 12 pack of drinks. Some regular camping perishable foods then open as one would while camping such as a few minutes during. Breakfast lunch and dinner? That would have at least provided some real world variables and as such a real world test, what you have done is utterly useless, your opinion is irrelevant and constitutes to your unconscious bias! That wouldn't have been an issue if you had a controlled experiment with some real world usage plus how cold perishable items behave over time. All you have shown is that yeah, both have ice after a very short amount of time. I could have saved you a video and gave you the results so a total waste of time for your audience. Poor at best.... Ridiculously unprepared more likely.....
Do not encourage companies to manufacture ANYTHING in China! I will pay the premium ( for all the right reasons). Rtic copy made in China. Yeti made in the USA. Enough China!
Smoke alarm
Ok Yeti 65 is $349.99 not $400. Rtic is $239.99 not $200. Add the $9 to the Rtic for the rack it’s $348.99. Rtic is 9 lbs heavier and that’s not good because rotomolded coolers are heavy enough as it is. Need two hands to close the Rtic, that would get ridiculous since you will be grabbing something out of it every time you open it. And the shipping time is crazy. I really wanted to like the Rtic but now im questioning it.
p.s. do you also own a "off-road" jeep? mall crawlers.......... smh
